Remon Nakanishi is one of the brightest stars of Japan's minyo and Bon Odori music scene, especially known as a singer of Goshu Ondo, which is the ballad songs sung at Bon Odori (summer festivals where people dance) around Kansai area. In this groundbreaking album he sings minyo from Tohoku and Hokkaido, Northern parts of Japan, and old songs of Echigo Goze, the female blind minstrel singers.
All eleven songs are accompanied in various styles, backed up with musicians playing drums, bass, guitars, marimba, tabla, trumpet etc., and the incredible chorus works somewhat sound like that of Eastern Europe.

彼が思春期より憧れた東北の民謡や越後の瞽女唄の数々が、多彩なミュージシャンとの競演、そして東欧風のコーラスワークをはじめとする印象的なあがさのアレンジによって新たに彩られる。11色の唄風景。ミックス・マスタリングは折坂悠太などを手掛ける中村公輔。
